Large-scale RABH
Introduction:
Clair has supplied Reverse Air Bag House (RABH) to a reputed cement manufacturer located in Andhra Pradesh. The dust laden gases from KILN exhaust, Raw mill 2 (VRM) vent gases and V separator/pre-grinder exit gases are cleaned with a Reverse Air Bag House (RABH). The RABH supplied by Clair is of modular type using reverse air for cleaning of filter bags. The supplied RABH is with 18 modules and each module contains 204 bags for a total of 3,672 filter bags. The RABH system is provided with bleed air dampers for controlling inlet gas temperature excursions beyond the design gas temperature of the system. RABH was commissioned in 2010 and has been operating with normal pressure drop of 110 to 130 mmWC. The parameter for which the RABH has been designed is listed in Table 1.
